Telaah Metodologi Fatwa Wahabi

Abstract

This article will focus on exposing the Wahhabi fatwa method, which actually does not have a consistent method like the Islamic schools of thought. Textual understanding of the revealed text is their method. Until then they betrayed Ibn Qayyim Al-Jawziyah as Ibn Taimiyah's best student. This article tries to depict the Wahhabi shift from the fatwa method proclaimed by the two figures by directly referring to the primary source, I'lam Al-Muwaqiaini, belonging to Ibn Qayyim. The fatwas of Wahhabi ulama were considered 'mischievous' by Yusuf Al-Qardhawi because their content was problematic and even provocative because it departed from their textual style in understanding texts and reality.
